The homework of Session6 is to design specific and collaboration products and make range plan. In adobe course, I successfully made clothes with AI, but I think it is too simple and the products I get are soulless. I want to pursue the feeling of hand-drawn design. Therefore, IN the design of clothing, I used a relatively complicated hand-drawn way. There is no doubt that this is a time-consuming task, but I always believe that product drawings drawn by hand painting have a better sense of design and can fully express my design concept. I put a lot of effort into the design of each product and poured my soul into it. They may not be perfect from a professional point of view, but they are a symbol of my efforts.
According to the summary of questionnaire results and mind map, I chose to make ten products, which are 2 coats, 3 long-sleeved Jumpers and 4 T-shirts,1 long-sleeved bodyfit tight top. The product is designed for all men and women, belonging to the gender-free style. The outerwear material is mainly wool and space cotton, and the oversize version is adopted. The sleeve and chest are hollowed out respectively, and the inner lining is hollowed out with fluorescent green. One of the outerwear has a circle of silk embroidery on the chest. All in all, I’m happy with the final visuals, despite the cumbersome methods I used, and I really enjoyed the process. I think a diversified presentation is more conducive to enriching the content of the assignment.
