In the study of Session4, I focused on SWOT analysis and Pestel analysis. There is no doubt that these two analysis methods are most frequently used in business operations. When the teacher told us about these two methods of analysis in class, I began to think that they were very simple, and that each aspect needed only one sentence to summarize. But later I found that this was not the case, especially after receiving the feedback from the teacher in the tutorial, I realized that my previous idea was not correct. In the following years, I spent a lot of time looking for Swot and PESTEL analysis of Balenciaga and Pop-Mart. Unfortunately, I didn’t find much detailed analysis of Balenciaga. It puzzled me that, as a luxury brand, it didn’t have enough research materials. So now I focus on the pop-Mart research.
After investigation and analysis, I learned that Pop-Mart, as the no.1 fashion toy brand in China, has great advantages and opportunities. Despite the existence of both weaknesses and threats, pop-Mart has great development space at present. This result makes me full of confidence for this cooperation. Finally, after consulting a large number of materials, I also completed Balenciaga’s SWOT and PESTEL analysis. In terms of SWOT analysis, I understand that the four factors can change with each other. Strengths can also become threats and weaknesses can also serve as opportunities. I tried to understand the SWOT analysis data and completed two SWOT analyses based on my own understanding. In the analysis of PESTEL, I have also deeply understood the meaning of each factor and the appropriate analysis Angle. This assignment made me more proficient in SWOT and PESTEL analysis, and I believe I can do better next time!
