In the first week of study, I came to the school for the offline course for the first time. Face-to-face class is very helpful for me. The assignments of the first week are marketing Mix, Timeline and primary research. When making marketing Mix, I spent more time searching for reference materials, many of which were not helpful to me. After browsing a large number of materials, I summarized and arranged them according to the characteristics of my cooperative brands. After finishing this work, I found these materials were very helpful to me. The seven PS I made deepened my research on Balenciaga and Pop-Mart. I divided the seven PS into two pages in detail, and conducted research on 55 customers through a self-designed survey. To support my analysis of marketing Mix, I also found some effective ways to search for business analysis. I think the production of marketing Mix is very helpful, and I have learned a lot both in the process and the result.
In the process of timeline, I chose Balenciaga as the main brand. Starting from its brand history, I focused on four designers who are significant to balenciaga and their respective contributions to the brand. In the design of timeline page, I use fluorescent green and off-white as the main tone. The inspiration of fluorescent green comes from the color of Balenciaga’s online official website, and the off-white picture is to show the sense of time. I want to highlight the theme of Timeline through the page design with distinct colors. In general, I like the whole research process very much. It is interesting and helpful to me. I also found some shortcomings in the research process. For example, I did not carefully plan the range of 7P in Marketing Mix, which led to the repetition of some opinions. After this exercise, I have a deeper understanding of business.
